Well, it’s been a while. Since the old Runner’s Breakfast, I’ve moved from Washington, D.C., to San Francisco. I’ve left RunHaven to go back to USA TODAY—and I’ve left USA TODAY to work where I am now—WIRED Magazine. I took a fitness writing hiatus when I got to RunHaven. Understandably, I needed to turn my brain off when it came to running—and writing—when I got home. But now I am in a completely new life. It’s an adventure. I am going to think back and write about some of the highs and lows, but mostly I am looking forward. This new Runner’s Breakfast is for me—but it might be for you too. I’ve fallen in love with new things and out of love with old things. I’ve made new friends, and found new past times. I’ve kept the dearest of my friends as close as ever. I am engaged now, and diving into the ridiculous world of wedding planning. My weekend are full of exploring all that the Bay Area has to offer and my week days are —I have to say—spent exactly where I should be. Looking back, I am forgetting things I wish I remembered. Now, those things will go here, along with some of my favorite posts from the old site. Welcome, I hope you follow along.
